Mid-Week

I got excited to see the Quartz Mountains again. When I crested the hill near Rocky, there were the blue peaks just beyond Hobart's skyline. I showed the pictures to the teens to provoke memories of camp last summer. We had sixteen in class when I announced a movie night for next Sunday to celebrate Spring Break.
At the Area Preachers' Breakfast this morning, a card was signed and prayer offered for Jeannette. After a Belgian waffle, I met Don for a trip to Tulsa to bring back a Pilot. The "titlemaster" in Accounting had me run a check to Reynolds on NW Hwy and bring back a Tacoma title.
The big deal of Thursday was the annual banquet for Whiz Kids at the Western Heritage Center. About 1000 enjoyed a gormet meal served by gracious Centennial students. Our favorite part was a new video featuring an interview of Nelson - one of our youth group leaders.
