We visit the hospital

Friday was a "hurry up 'n' wait" day. We were told the surgery time slot was 11:30 (3rd in order). Just before our alarm went off the phone rang and we were told of a cancellation and asked to come on in ASAP. Within an hour we were here (OU Medical Center - Presbyterian Tower) because she had everything prepared, packed or layed out. We sat in pre-op holding over 3 hours.
Surgery was thot to take just under 2 hours . . . but they got in there and discovered a lot of adhesions. After 4 hours they called to say Jeannette was awake in recovery. During that wait, I met Stan Meek's wife, and visited with the family of a Westside elder who was struck in a crosswalk, in the rainstorm last Tue at Tinker AFB. Dr. Walker came in w/ pictures and assured Gwyn, Mike, and me that there was no cancer!
THANK YOU, LORD!
